Keep Your Distance
Curiosity Killed The Cat
1987
Started off very strong, loved the first song. Joe summed it up well Some decent songs but I stopped caring. Nice and short which helps the score.
Lots to like about this. Subtle and understated charm, smooth and authentic, it really feels like a good album. If I had to fault it, I couldn’t spot the single, which tells me it was a comfortable but not standout sound. But at its best it really encapsulated parts of Sade, Springsteen, Hall & Oates, and Richie, so it’s quite hard to fault that. But then again the album itself has a load of fodder tracks at the end and just drags a bit too much. It’s a very harsh 6 for an album I liked.
