I feel this has taller peaks but lower lows than the self titled record. Midge Ure remains haunting throughout. Really feels like this is what speaks to me about new wave. I second what Joe has to say about these silly extended-only versions of releases. Very annoying for a clean and original listen.

Lots going for it. A really clearly defined and driving sound, and a huge lead single will get you a long way on a album. Plenty to enjoy, but I still don't quite feel like it did enough for a 7. Because I am slightly on the fence I will also add that there is no normal, non-deluxe or 2-disc version of this record on Spotify which really grinds my gears.
