Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.
Harry Styles
2026
I always go into these big albums quite critical, but I was pleasantly surprised by the deviation from the norm here. You can tell the clear influences on this album, which definitely makes it more interesting than his others. Does feel a little weaker than the albums he's emulating but he has to keep it popular I suppose.
I wasn’t sure about this album at the start but I do think it got better. It’s an interesting album directionally, and whilst I think this was pitched as a pivot towards dance music, I think it is actually more evolution than revolution compared with Harry’s House. From a purely album structure perspective it is a sad reflection of the importance of the album that the two singles are front loaded. For me though, given I quite liked some of the non singles such as The Waiting Game and Season 2 Weight Loss, it wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. Overall a difficult rating, but it’s punchy, so I’ll settle on a 6.
