The Noise Made By People

I second Joe's opinion that this album creates a real sense of unease and dread, which lends to this album making for a very atmospheric listen, but perhaps doesn't make it "enjoyable" in the traditional sense.
Enjoyed a fair bit. There's something uncanny and probing about the feeling of this one which has been noted already. I think a lot of the more ambient tracks have an air of dark nights in place where not so many people go. The vocals really sell it for me however. I think in this case what worked for me is the instrument of voice more than anything lyrical. It all comes together very nicely.
I have a very unique review comment which is that listening to this album made me feel like I was being followed. Itβs got an unsettling feel and I am struggling to draw too many immediate comparisons. I feel as though I do have to give it some credit for that, but perhaps the reason nothing else really sounds like this is because itβs not that good? Perhaps harsh as it did get stronger in the second half, in my view. Started to sound more like the backing track for a Coen brothers film
