I think this album really is the best of the prodigy. Poison and break and enter highlight tracks. I think long albums are a staple of the genre as a sideffect of basically being menus for djs. I was going to queue some faithless as a follow up to this but the album i had in mind is 1hr 40 so i saved you all for now atleast.

The ideal way to listen to this album: 1. Listen at night 2. In a run-down street in an urban area (the more post-industrial the better) 3. While in or going to a party/drinking establishment

The kind of music I'd expect to hear when stuck on a difficult level on like a snowboarding PS2 game.

This is excellent music to be walking slightly faster than everyone around you in a pedestrianised urban zone or high street. Incredibly coherent sound, as basically every track follows the same formula. Incredibly difficult to settle on a rating for, because every track follows the same formula. It’s pretty emphatic though, the album certainly makes enough of a statement to deserve a solid if unremarkable score. It’s also way too long
