Not really much to say on this one, very Simon core, quite middle of the line 80s rock.

Released in April 1980, this album sits precariously on the precipice of synth rock without quite being there yet. That is certainly the same of its music too, there’s definitely a strong, driving 70s rock feel to this record that I enjoyed. It starts out very strongly and continues on solidly. For me it doesn’t quite do enough to get to a 7. But it’s really quite close. I would say that a 6 is fair on the basis that I did want it to kick on slightly or develop into something more familiar. Without Can’t Fight This Feeling, I think it’s hard to see how this record could have crossed that barrier in my mind. Perhaps that is unfair
