I enjoyed this one. Really interesting listen, and a specific shoutout to the title track where he parodies artists talking about creating their music, I love diegetic audio. Of course, undeniably Acceptable In The 80s is outstanding. For balance, it started to get a bit samey around three quarters of the way in, so I’ve docked one point. Luke’s crash out review set the bar so unfathomably low that this album was going to have to be Kurt Cobain unfinished songs level for me not to at least appreciate it.

When it comes to dance and disco music, my most important criteria is "could I dance to this?" As such, I found this severely lacking. Simplistic repetitive lyrics backed by equally basic instrumentals left this feeling like a numming experience rather than one that made me want to leap up and dance.
